IEEE CS Conferences Recognized as Fastest Growing Events in 2024

SC24 Named to Fastest 50 by Total Attendance, Exhibiting Companies, and Net Square Feet of Exhibit Space; CVPR 2024 Named to Next 50 by Total Attendance

Fastest Growing Events in 2024Fastest Growing Events in 2024LOS ALAMITOS, Calif., 27 February 2025 – The IEEE Computer Society (CS), the world’s leading computer science and engineering member community, announced today that two of its conferences were recognized by Trade Show Executive (TSE) as part of its Fastest 50 of 2024, a designation that honors the fastest-growing trade shows in the U.S. by attendance, number of exhibitors, and net square footage of exhibit space.

Specially, SC24, the Conference for High-Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis, took honors in all three categories being named to the Fastest 50 By Total Attendance, Fastest 50 by Exhibiting Companies, and Fastest 50 by Net Square Feet of Exhibit Space Lists. And CVPR 2024, the Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, earned honors by being named to the Next 50 by Total Attendance List.

“IEEE CS is thrilled to have two of its events, SC and CVPR, named among the fastest growing trade shows in the U.S.,” said Melissa Russell, Executive Director, IEEE Computer Society. “This recognition is truly a testament to the quality of the programming our dedicated IEEE CS conference volunteers are able to deliver, which in turn drives the attendance and exhibitor participation at our shows. Through the innovative panels, keynotes, tutorials, demonstrations and more featured at our conferences, we create new opportunities to support growth and advancement in computer science and engineering for the betterment of our world.”

SC24 and CVPR24 will be recognized, along with all the other honorees that made the Top 50 Fastest and Next 50 Lists, at TSE’s annual Fastest 50 Awards & Summit, taking place 30 April -2 May in Orlando, Fla. About the Conference for High-Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis (SC)

SC is the world’s largest gathering focused on all aspects of high-performance computing (HPC). Each year, SC brings together the top minds in HPC, network, storage, and analysis to share ideas, contributions, and advancements in HPC. The technical program enables knowledge-sharing and features presentations, tutorials, panels, and discussion forums designed to spotlight breakthroughs and spark innovation in the HPC field.

SC25 takes place 16-21 November at America’s Center in St. Louis, MO, U.S.A. For more information about SC25, visit https://sc25.supercomputing.org/.

About the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) Conference

The Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition Conference (CVPR) is the preeminent computer vision event for new research in support of artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), augmented, virtual and mixed reality (AR/VR/MR), deep learning, and much more. Sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society (CS) and the Computer Vision Foundation (CVF), CVPR delivers the important advances in all areas of computer vision and pattern recognition and the various fields and industries they impact. With a first-in-class technical program, including tutorials and workshops, a leading-edge expo, and robust networking opportunities, CVPR, which is annually attended by more than 10,000 scientists and engineers, creates a one-of-a-kind opportunity for networking, recruiting, inspiration, and motivation.

CVPR 2025 takes place 10-17 June at the Music City Center in Nashville, TN, U.S.A. For more information about CVPR 2025, visit https://cvpr.thecvf.com/Conferences/2025.
